Jim Livengood brings a wealth of experience to Collegiate Sports Associates having served as an athletic director at the Division I level for 28 consecutive years – first at Southern Illinois, then Washington State, Arizona and UNLV. Livengood is a former chair of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament Selection Committee and was named Athletic Director of the Year in 2006 by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Livengood has served as Pac-10 Conference President and on the Rose Bowl Management Committee.
Livengood has the reputation as one of the nation’s top administrators as he oversaw athletics programs that annually competed for championships not only in the Pac-10 Conference but also at the national level. His programs maintained high academic standards for its student-athletes and continually operated programs known for their sound fiscal management and success in fundraising. He served as president of the D1A Athletic Director’s Association and was named 1A Athletic Director of the Year during his tenure.
Jim and his wife, Linda reside in Tucson and Las Vegas, have two grown children, Michelle, and Jeremy and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.
