Collegiate Sports Connect Partners with West Virginia University
RALEIGH – Collegiate Sports Connect, Inc. (Connect), a recently launched state-of-the-art technology platform for college athletics administrators and institutions that will make the personnel search process more efficient and comprehensive, announced today a partnership with the West Virginia University’s (WVU) Department of Athletics.
West Virginia is Connect’s third institutional search client, after announcing partnerships with the University of Southern California and the University of New Orleans. Since launching, the Connect community has grown to over 2,600 administrators.
As a search client, WVU will be able to boost its talent networking, identification, recruitment, and acquisition processes with access to Connect’s comprehensive professional intercollegiate athletics personnel database and search functionality.
Keli Zinn, WVU Athletics’ COO and Deputy AD cited the ability to quickly and easily identify talented, diverse candidates through the platform as a key benefit for the Mountaineers.
At West Virginia University, we know it is crucial to hire the right people, so we are thrilled to partner with Connect! The ease at which the database allows us to identify candidate pools that are qualified, diverse, and eager to further their career will be valuable in our hiring process. Well done by the team at Connect to develop this platform.
College athletics administrators can sign up for Connect and build their profile by visiting www.csconnect.live.
Athletics departments interested in becoming a Connect client should contact Collegiate Sports Connect’s Vice President for Operations, Clay Pfeifler (email@example.com).
“Not only does Connect give you the opportunity to control your professional profile and present yourself to prospective employers how you want, but by joining the Connect community you will also have access to exclusive industry-specific content created by the D1.ticker and to breakout rooms where users can connect with colleagues to discuss ideas and best practices,” said Co-Founder and President Drew Turner. “Our goal is to have every Division 1 institution as a search client by 2023. My message to our industry and the professionals who work in it is to sign up for a profile and take advantage of this wonderful resource.”
