Sep 20, 2021

(Raleigh, NC) Collegiate Sports Associates has added Jenna McLaughlin to the firm as Vice President for Competitive Excellence and Brand Enhancement. McLaughlin joins a CSA team that includes Todd Turner, Drew Turner, Dr. Brad Bates, Craig Littlepage, and Clay Pfeifler. She comes to CSA after most recently serving as Chief of Staff for NC State Athletics since 2019.

CSA President & Founder, Todd Turner welcomed McLaughlin to the team and stated, “We could not be more excited to add Jenna McLaughlin to the CSA family. When we started CSA in 2010, the vision was to create a firm led by industry practitioners; professionals who have worked in intercollegiate athletics and truly understand what it is like to work in higher education and college sports. Jenna aligns extremely well with that identity – she’s an experienced athletics administrator with a background in human resources, a tremendous work ethic, a commitment to integrity and a passion for higher education and intercollegiate athletics.”

McLaughlin brings over 10 years of experience in collegiate athletics, having previously served on the Executive Staff at Army West Point overseeing Human Resources. In addition, McLaughlin spent six seasons as an Assistant women’s basketball coach at the collegiate level.

“I am excited to join Todd Turner and the CSA team to work with a group of highly respected professionals within the industry,” said McLaughlin.  “I am deeply appreciative of the leadership, mentorship and opportunities provided by Boo Corrigan.  The opportunity with CSA would not have been possible without his unwavering support and trust in me.  At a transformational time in college athletics, the opportunities and services CSA provides are critical and I’m eager to learn a new side of this industry.  My background in both coaching and administration has helped me understand the type of leader universities and programs need to be successful, and I look forward to collaborating with the incredible team in place at CSA”

In her role with CSA, McLaughlin will lead the company’s strategic communications and brand management.  Additionally, she will be a part of the CSA leadership team and involved in all the firm’s search and consulting projects.

“Jenna has a unique perspective with experience as an assistant coach, human resource administrator, as well as a senior level administrator and sports supervisor for both for men’s and women’s sports that will serve her and CSA extremely well.  She is a high energy, positive person, a tireless worker and relationship builder.  I valued my time with Jenna the past five years and wish her the very best moving forward.”

Boo Corrigan

Director of Athletics, North Carolina State University

During her time at NC State, McLaughlin served as sport administrator for numerous programs, including the Wolfpack’s nationally prominent men’s basketball program. She served as the Chair of NC State’s Name Image and Likeness Committee and developed strategies and direction to navigate this new space, while also serving as a member of the ACC Committee on Racial Equity.

Corrigan states “Jenna has a unique perspective with experience as an assistant coach, human resource administrator, as well as a senior level administrator and sports supervisor for both for men’s and women’s sports that will serve her and CSA extremely well.  She is a high energy, positive person, a tireless worker and relationship builder.  I valued my time with Jenna the past five years and wish her the very best moving forward.”

At West Point, McLaughlin was instrumental in establishing the framework that helped shift Army to a 501(c)3 direct support organization. As an assistant coach at West Point, she helped guide Army to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. McLaughlin also had coaching stints at Sacred Heart (Conn.), as well as NYU.

McLaughlin has an undergraduate degree from Molloy College (2009) and a master’s degree in teaching from Sacred Heart (2012).
