Collegiate Sports Connect and USC Partner on New Search Technology Platform
RALEIGH – Collegiate Sports Connect, Inc. (Connect), a new state-of-the-art technology platform for college athletics administrators and institutions that will make the personnel search process more efficient and comprehensive, announced today a partnership with the University of Southern California’s Department of Athletics (USC).
USC is Connect’s first institutional search client.
As a search client, USC will be able to boost its talent networking, identification, recruitment, and acquisition processes with access to Connect’s comprehensive professional intercollegiate athletics personnel database and search functionality.
As someone who spent a decade on campus and the past three years working in executive search, I know how time consuming, inefficient, and homogenous searches to fill athletics department vacancies can be. By utilizing Connect, departments can make their search process much more efficient, thorough and democratic.
Brandon Sosna, USC Athletics’ Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief of Staff, said the new platform will assist with building diverse and representative candidate pools for job opportunities, and it will be a valuable resource for USC Athletics and all athletic departments across the country.
At USC Athletics, we believe you win with people, so hiring is one of the most important things we do. Connect helps solve one of our most significant challenges: strategically and efficiently developing specific, diverse, and qualified candidate pools. This platform will be a tremendous resource for our administrators.
College athletics administrators can sign up for Connect and build their profile by visiting www.csconnect.live.
Athletics departments interested in becoming a Connect client should contact Collegiate Sports Connect’s Vice President for Operations, Clay Pfeifler (clay@csconnect.live).
“Not only will Connect give you the opportunity to control your professional profile and present yourself to prospective employers how you want, but by joining the Connect community you will also have access to exclusive industry-specific content created by the D1.ticker and to breakout rooms where users can connect with colleagues to discuss ideas and best practices,” said Turner. “Our goal is to have every Division 1 institution as a search client by 2023. My message to our industry and the professionals who work in it is to sign up for a profile and take advantage of this wonderful resource.”
