POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the overall management of the University of Toledo’s (UT) Women’s Rowing program. This position is responsible for all aspects of practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student-athletes, and the comprehensive operation of the program with student-athlete welfare as the guiding principle. This position is expected to manage a team that is highly competitive within the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Women’s Rowing Head Coach is responsible for the management of the program within budgetary, compliance, policies and procedures of the University of Toledo, UT’s Athletic Department, NCAA and MAC.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful collegiate rowing coaching or equivalent experience required.
- Collegiate and/or professional rowing experience required.
- Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance, and athletic performance.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.
- Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
